The last journey

Today was mum's funeral.

It was a beautiful sunny day, with gorgeous blue sky, just perfect for her.

A lovely service was given by the Reverend Tom which went without a hitch and the florist did a wonderful job with the flowers the tributes were beautiful

Some of the nurses who cared for mum came from the hospital to pay their respects which was really nice

A few tears were shed, but dad held it together well.

So now we will begin to move on
