Up and At 'Em

I had to be up like a school day today as Pete the tiler was coming to finish my toilet! I put it off for weeks, but actually it was good to get it done. It was dull and rained all day, and because of the early start, the day felt super long. 

The parents have gone to northern Spain this weekend, so I'm dog-sitting for the pooch. In the afternoon I had my nails done, and then popped into see Shelle and Lou who were on their own today. Lou was good fun, and had been on a walk to the post-box in the drizzle. I came bearing the last of her birthday presents- Playdoh, from Gramma. We sat at the table together for ages playing, and she cried and got a bit stroppy when we had to put it away! 

Little B was utterly terrified when more bloody fireworks suddenly started up at 10pm. He was actually paralysed with fear, sitting hunched on the half-landing, which made me really worried about him and annoyed with the people blasting them!
