Transport

This is the canal in Stroud, just down the road from where we live. I’m actually stood on the towpath taking this photo not hovering on water! If you’d been standing on this spot 8 years ago when we first moved here this was just scrubland, they put this section of canal back in as part of ongoing restoration of the canal through Stroud and the section that was roughly in this spot had a road built over it in the 80’s....so to accommodate the missing section they moved the route of the canal a few hundred yards and this was the result.

Above the canal you can see the railway viaduct with train going across!
