Peaceful

A quiet walk into town with mum and her mobility scooter took us past this stretch of the river Longford. Where mum lives there is masses of redesigning of roads, bridge repairs and much other building work, causing unending traffic chaos. It was lovely to stand for a moments and just look at the wildlife along this little stretch of water. We managed some shopping for mum and a coffee before the walk home. A very pleasant morning. Unfortunately this was followed immediately by a call for help from mum’s sister, my first ever ride in an ambulance and an afternoon at the hospital! I least I was home for dinner whilst poor Aunty has been admitted. Mum and I have spent a quiet evening, mainly eating chocolate!
