Oops

Took Toby and his cousin Luca to Llandegla today.

Great morning ride but not without incident.

Toby managed to pinch flat a front tyre, he was riding pretty hard, and then I found I didn't have the puncture repair kit in my pack. Luckily a passer by leant me his.

Then later on my rear derailleur launched itself into my back wheel, breaking two spokes and got twisted all out of shape.

I wrenched it back roughly in line, tied off the broken spokes to its neighbour and coarsely retrued the wheel enough so it didn't drag on the frame.

Luca loved the riding, his first time proper mountain biking. Toby started really strongly but had a bit of a wobble part way round. He picked himself up though.

I think Toby and I were the only riders there on fully rigid bikes today. No bounce for us.
