Home for a shower

I came home to a lovely sight. A working shower. Hooray. There are still a few jobs to do in there to finish it off but it is usable.
Things aren't great for my dad. He has suffered a massive stroke. We dont know how long or to what extent recovery might take and I think he may be in hospital for quite some time but we are all hopeful and all we can do is motivate him to get better.
I'm feeling a bit mentally and emotionally drained at the moment. Torn between being down south to support my mum and dad and wanting to be up north with Rich and the kids and my life up here.
