Super Saturday

Up early to take the old sofa out into the garden (we need to arrange for it to be taken away) and await one new sofa and 2 armchairs. Honestly, the excitement of getting new furniture is ridiculous:-D))) I’ve added an extra but I should have taken one before we decorated but imagine beige carpet and light brown sofas and cream walls lol.

In the evening Rebecca and Mo hosted a mince pie and mulled wine evening. Mr C was at rugby so Lucy and I dropped him off first before heading off in the awful rain. We stopped off at Sims first (he was at work) to meet their new kitty, Monty. He was gorgeous. 

We all took mince pies from different shops for us to ‘judge’. As always, Rebecca was very organised and had printed off little score sheets for us. Top was Waitrose, 2nd M&S and 3rd Sainsbury’s. We also had pies from Lidl, Mr Kipling and Sims Natalie also made some.
