A lunch date
JR, while having breakfast in bed again, declared that she'd be back at the gym tomorrow - she is fully recovered from her indisposition.
Elizabeth was joining us for lunch at Honeycomb. JR waited outside with Archie, so that his crazed crying upon seeing Elizabeth did not disturb the punters. He sat up in the stool at first (on Elizabeth's scarf) and the waiter, having brought him some water, put the dish on the table, before realising just how idiotic this was. So funny - we had to recreate the scene. But this did not happen. He was in his proper doggy place under the table for the entire meal.
Elizabeth and I had the most delicious French toast, while JR had avocado toast. They really do have an excellent menu, and all the meals we saw at nearby tables looked terrific.
After lunch, JR went down the road to collect her latest 'click and collect' at Waitrose (so handy) and Elizabeth went off shopping, while Archie and I came home over the Links, and I spent the afternoon listening to my new audiobook on my new earpods.
