Swinger

Seems every river in every country town has a swing like this for kids to propel themselves into the middle of the river. This rope ends very close to the surface of the water, so it’s hard to tell where the rope ends and the reflection begins.

Dogs are far too sensible for such shenanigans. We only go in and paddle around if one of them fails to surface!
