First sign of snow.

Thank you all so much for the mass of comments, stars and faves on yesterdays photo - it has become the most "faved" of my photos over the last year and a bit!

Woke up to a very "subtle" day this morning. A really cold, damp, but not particularly frosty morning, with "gentle" light, and a touch of rain. Driving over to Workington to do some shopping it started to snow / sleet, and by the time we got home, the top of our woodland had a light covering. With so little wind, the snow was dusting the branches and twigs on the trees too.
