Retirement tea

The doctors ( old and new) took me out to a local hotel for a retirement afternoon tea. Obviously the timing wasn’t great with the Chief in hospital but we went ahead with the event as it would have been impossible to rearrange. . It was a lovely afternoon with plenty Prosecco / sandwiches/ scones / cakes. The afternoon was made complete for me when I spotted Denis Law in the foyer. Aberdeen’s greatest footballer - though he never played for the Dons.
