lazy sunday and strength to women

I said no more bad blips but I couldn't resist!

Today I spent quality time with the mother and am now reaxing in the quiet, candles flickering away and a good book.

In the book an african tribe would remove a woman's vulva and then sew her up.

This would prevent the woman becoming 'loose' and would clean her of her dirty parts.

I dont know if this is based on truth...I pray it is just fiction.

It terrifies me how people can justify torturous acts based on interpretations of legend, traditions, religion etc.

I daresay in some parts of the world acts such as this may still be performed.

To women out there, stay strong and I hope you can break free from the people that seek to hurt you.
