Still hoping to get a shot of a magpie but no luck again today. However these collared doves appeared in the holly tree and stayed there quite a while so an easy blip for me. According to Wikipedia ..... " They are almost always seen in pairs and remain loyal to their mates" So I guess these two are a couple.

No snow today but it is freezing cold so I have remained indoors. Neil arrived home at 4pm -he had a trouble free journey back from Norwich. Saw a bit of snow around the Doncaster area.

An evening of TV watching and ironing awaits..... me --- not Neil.
