A bit of colour

I made the mistake of believing the weather forecast today which said that there would be 'sunny intervals' later, so I had planned a walk down the back lane this afternoon. But having worked this morning and waded through a pile of ironing, the skies didn't change so that plan will have to wait for another Sunday afternoon. The only colour in the garden at the moment - apart from a white hellebore currently hiding its face - is this self-seeded pansy, in a pot that should hold a hosta. I think everything may get a shock this week with the snow that's forecast. Fingers crossed that they've got that wrong too!
