Portmellon

Well, all the effort of being a 'perfect pooch' yesterday was obviously all too much for me?!

Today I've had such fun but I've also been a little bit naughty.

It was a beautiful day so Ann said we would go to Mevagissey, have a bit of a mooch about, and then we would walk along the coast path to Portmellon so that I could have a play on the beach.

Mevagissey wasn't really that exciting for me because I had to stay on my lead. So as soon as I hit the sand at Portmellon I was off. I spotted a gorgeous flat coated retriever playing with a ball in the sea so I went zooming after him and stole it. He was called Dezler and he looked ever so upset when I wouldn't give him his ball back. I didn't care though. It was a squeaky ball and squeaky balls are my favourite. I did my speediest running and nobody could catch me.

However after a while the humans started ignoring me. Dezler started to play with two other dogs and I could hear Ann telling Dezler's owner what a disobedient collie I was.

So I devised a very clever cunning plan?!! What I did was ........................ I ran up to Dezler's owner, dropped the ball at his feet and then sat and gave him my 'appealing look'.

My very clever cunning plan worked. Dezler's owner told me I was very pretty and invited me to play with all the other doggies.
