I really hate this time of year. 

Because it was grey, wet and nasty again, it started to get dark about 3pm. I always try to keep positive and use the time well, but it does not always work...

Anyway, today involved all the usual Saturday chores, so they got done and that's positive.

I had a coffee and scone at the farm shop, which was a bit of a highlight. So was lunch - fish curry made with the monkfish I bought yesterday.

In the farm shop I noticed they were selling cider made on the next door farm, and thought I should try it. It is excellent. The bottle is labelled "batch 1" so I must be one of the first.
