Painted Hall

I live close to the Old Royal Naval College and will never tire of this lovely place. Not only have about 40 movies been shot here, but recently a major conservation effort has been initiated. So what to do on a dreary freezing Sunday, but go and be a bit of a sticky beak.

So up on the scaffolding we went - had to drag hubby with but he was quite impressed. Could almost touch the ceiling...great to see the art up close. Will take a long while to finish but worth it as the colours are amazing.

Hurried home to the warmth and now waiting on some snow flurries that might - just might - hit London in a day or so.
