Cello

In another life I used to be a cellist.

I got really into playing my cello in the upper sixth and switched my attentions from science A-levels and vet school applications to cello practice and music college auditions. I managed two years at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD) before I realised being a cellist wasn't for me and that environmental science was the way forward!

I haven't really touched my cello since then (2003!) and it has sat in the corner of our sitting room making me feel guilty. It's a modern instrument made by an Australian ex-pat residing in Elgin called Peter Goodfellow. We've decided that it would be a good idea to loan the cello to a worthy student so that it gets played.
