Out in the Pacific Ocean in a speed boat......

.......from the town of Kaikoura to look for Albatrosses.. We were very lucky and saw several.  The Southern Royal with a wing span of 3 metres is sadly endangered. Love the water droplets as it takes off.
The extra is a Wandering Albatross, considered vulnerable. I really like the amazing markings on the back and wings, so handsome.  What a privilege to see these wonderful birds.
