failure

Took the blanket for a walk.  The sun did not play nice and my hopes of having a bright rainbow against the misty mountains and ocean didn't happen.  Photoshoot failure.  

Didn't get a single shot I liked, but my fellow human got this one of me trying to block the sun on my lens.  So I think it counts as a blip - it proves I took a photo today.

We're going to have to try again.  If I really want to get this shot, I'm going to need to break out the tripod.  I also need to get less nervous about all the humans who kept asking me "what do you think you're doing you strange person with an ugly coat"  (I paraphrase) 

I can't decide - do I spend one more winter with an ugly coat and buy the lens that would be perfect for this kind of product shot or do I get a nice coat and learn to use the gear I have?
