A Generous Crowd
I landed back from Chicago at about 530 this morning. One of the reasons I came back from Chicago a day early was because I wanted to go to this concert this evening, held at the local church here in Twyford.
Performing tonight were the High Voltage Singers, the Reading Accordion Group, Sarah Tun singing, and a lovely young lady (I can’t remember her name) on the flute. It was a very enjoyable event and the church was packed.
The best part of it all - they were raising money for Yeldall Manor, the Drug and Alcohol Rehab centre started by my parents over 40 years ago. How generous! About £1600 was raised!
