Californian Poppy

Here we are near the end of November, and these little flowers are still flowering. The seasons are crazy this year! I'm complaining as it is lovely to see so much colour in the garden :-)

A busy day. Picked a friend up in Bideford today to take to Hospital for an op today. She had it cancelled a fortnight ago, but it it was on for this afternoon. Will phone the ward later to see how she is.  All being well  I can collect her sometime tomorrow and take her home and stay over to make sure she is ok. Her son can't get down until Wednesday. 

I then headed back in that direction to the village of Westerleigh to meet up with the ladies from the fitness group I belong to. We were sending one of the ladies off to Australia for three months, where she will be with the family. Just got there in time to order main course instead of dessert.

It has been grey, wet and miserable here today, but back home snug and warm. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend, stay safe :-)
