Dogs Welcome!

That's what the sign said, so we made the most of it and went in for a coffee and cake!  We are trying to take Lottie into the town more often to get her used to different people and situations. 

She excelled herself today and won praise and plaudits from just about everyone we met!  I nipped into Boots and when I came out Mike and Lottie had an Irish wolfhound and a wire haired fox terrier and their owners all gathered around them, chatting away and sharing out their dog biscuits!  

Extra of a rare sight - a real nativity scene, spotted in Shearers, that wonderful place which sells everything from cake decorations to gas light mantles, upstairs in their Christmas shop.  It definitely starts to feel like Christmas once you've been in there!
