Today's read

A Dutch book, 190 pages, read in one go. For me it got 4 out of 5 stars. A horrible story, but very well told. About the author's own and her sister's abuse as children by their father. The book makes me extra grateful for the good childhood I had and the parents and siblings I had and have.

The story is insightful as to what it must be like growing up in such a situation. On one hand the abuse on the other hand the "normal" family life. Living two lives at the same time. Horrible. But a book that deserves to be read.
