Family and familiar

I tend to leave Barts every evening at about the same time and so both journeys there and back are getting more and more familiar.

I like this view as I step out into the cold fresh air. The statue is of Rowland Hill, the postage stamp man, dated 1840. And of course, there’s St.Pauls, a London bus and a red pillar box ... quintessentially London.

LongLegs didn’t have a great day today. He’s been told he’ll be in over the weekend and that’s thrown him, although I really think it’s good that he’s still there, with the daily hurdles he faces.

My sister has come to stay because my mother’s health is deteriorating with kidney failure looming. DougsJB’s laptop broke today and Dot.T’s phone broke today. Some things are big. Some things are little. There’s just lots of things.
