A Jasper view

Returning from my weekly walk to the butcher, I found myself examining Jasper's view of the garden.

Pachystegia insignis, the Marlborough rock daisy, has teased me for ages and must surely bloom soon.

Fetuca actae, Banks Peninsula blue tussock, is thriving at the front. Sophora prostrata, the shrub version of kowhai in the background, is a survivor of the original landscaping.

There are 3 at the front and they're looking a lot better with love in the form of seaweed tea.

I don't think Jasper takes any of this in as he glides between plants and slabs of schist from Central Otago.
