Red flower with yellow pistils

This grows on a shrub by our front door, but I do not know the identity of it. I love the color combination. If any of my fellow blippers can help me identify it, I would appreciate it. It almost looks like an Iceland poppy, but it is on a shrub that is more like a rhododendron or an azalea, not like the greenery of a poppy.
