The Mythical Mountain 2/3

We drove back to the Aoraki viewpoints (oh how we laughed!) but I could only manage a blip of the small cairns which are scattered about the shore of Lake Pukaki.  Built by photographers as an offering to the god of the lifting cloud base.  Clearly - she was not impressed today.

Twizel was interesting though - a smart town centre for such a small place and with a really good small gallery too.
