Devon dawn
I've admired this clump of trees for years on trips down to Devon, but have never photographed them until today. I left Loddiswell before sun up and it was pretty cold. I waited in the field here until the sun showed but I liked this image the best. You can tell which way the prevailing wind blows.
It's always a heavy drinking weekend when we gather for a shoot and this was no exception. One drink served up yesterday was sloe gin and champagne - a surprisingly pleasant combination that I'm told is called a sloegasm. We had a few. A multiple sloegasm, I guess. Pheasant on the menu tonight.
