Succulents

I don't know how long this planter has been on the mantel of the lobby fireplace, but it first caught my eye yesterday.  I'm not much of a succulent fan in general, but I thought this arrangement was very well done.

It is very cold here today, and I'm wearing a double layer of sweaters.  I'll have to change that to have freedom of movement as I set about making meatloaves again,  Then this evening I'll be at calendar work.
