Plastic coo.....

Once everything was fed I headed off to the Agriscot event at Ingliston. It is a 1 day agricultural event which originally started off as a dairy event but has now expanded to include lots of trade stands and various beef related demos.
This was on the university vet stand. It is part of a teaching aid to learn about condition scoring cattle. This model gets covered with a padded skin to help teach how the differing fat coverings feel. You don’t want your cattle too fat  pre calving as it leads to difficulties .
Saw a lot of folk and caught up with a few I haven’t seen since this time last year. Even got an ice cream cone from Carr’s Billington’s stand- makes a change from coffee and biscuits.
The wind fairly picking up tonight and very cold- hope it stays dry !
