Scandinavian Invasion

I love this time of year, more so when you get a nice, crisp, dry, cold day. And especially once our annual Scandi neighbours start moving in. Working out at an edge of the city business park does come with some benefits. Fieldfare aren't really an urban species, unless the snow is particularly deep out in the countryside (we've had one in our garden once!) - but near work the berries on the trees have them (and Redwings) hanging about in abundance.

Of course I had gone out looking for Waxwings, but these guys easily made up for the lack of the little punks. The camera will be coming to work a bit more regularly the next few months.
