Heading due west
A big drive today to get to Toowoomba for my sister in law's 70th birthday on the following day - left home this morning about 11am with Miss A and headed for Brisbane. We had a few chores to do when we arrived in Brisbane, got those done and then picked up Z from day care and then dropped both of them off at their place at about 5.30pm. Their dad was home by then so we took off for Toowoomba. The road heads due west directly into the setting sun so for most of the drive we had the sun directly in our eyes which was very uncomfortable. This is taken through the windscreen of the car on the Warrego Highway just as the sun was setting. We got to Toowoomba about 7.30pm - rather tired! The heat was intense all day.
