Female Blackcap
Today I feel better than yesterday, but still not very good. I took a picture of a bird-watching Dougal, he was looking through a steamed up kitchen window watching a magpie and a squirrel both eating nuts from the feeders on our cherry tree and I had intended to blip this. However, whilst lying soaking in my bath Mrs GOG took pictures of Lesser Redpolls (Carduelis cabaret) and a female Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla), both of which are rare in this area and one of which she said I could put up; I chose the Blackcap, which in the female has a chestnut coloured head; here it is. It does reflect what I saw today, but was unable to capture.
