Pop up cinema and community hub

The Snug.
"What is it?”
Most folk in the shopping centre look puzzled and walk past, uncertain whether to go in or not.
 
I check it out. Two American girls are playing chess.
 
There is a big TV screen, lots of comfy seats, a bookshelf, newspapers and drawing material for children.
But I still can figure out what exactly is  The Snug.
 
 So I google it.

Here’s the good news: Macrobert Arts Centre have teemed up with the Thistle shopping centre in Stirling to create a community hub and pop up cinema in one of its empty shops.
 
This is a completely new venture. And it could provide a blueprint, one way of tackling all those empty shops in our high streets and shopping malls- convert them into community hubs and entertainment centres.
