Too Cold For A Swim

A chilly 24f with a wind blowing and an ice shelf forming along the lake shore, but the ducks don't seem to mind. Paddling (if that's the correct term) back and forth and diving under the water now and then, they seemed to be putting on a display for me. As it doesn't happen too often, I took advantage, this time with a longer lens, but I was further away.

Anyway I was pleasantly surprised by how sharp they came out given the conditions. I liked the shot through the reeds the best as it shows them in their environment.
