A lovely revisit
Today's hike was a surprise. It turned out that the resting place we stayed at, we have stayed at a long time ago. At that time we raised our tent on the surface between the picnic table and the little wood shed.
Now the resting place has been developed and there were privy, two windshields, fireplace, firewood and fresh water source. And the forest has grown up on the other side of the little lake. Thirty years ago we looked over a bog.
Extras:
The hiking trail went through different types of forest. It went through a part with ferns in autumnal copper color.
Another part passed over a pebble field. It was the seabed 7500 BC.
A tiny island with a pine tree was so cute that it deserved to be photographed.
On the way home in the car we passed a piece of forest with larches in beautiful autumn color.
What a lovely revisit to this beautiful place. And so crazy today too, we found a lot of funnel chanterelle!
