Waldspirale

Thank you my dear blip mates for your love and sympathy for me and my family because of the loss of Opa. We know that he is in peace now, but it feels strange to continue with the everyday life.
We brought my old car to Darmstadt to sell it. While we were waiting for the offer, we made a walk to the Waldspirale. It was s dull day, so the colours are not bright enough. But it is a fascinating building :-)

"The Waldspirale is a residential building complex in Darmstadt, Germany, built in the 1990s. The name translates into English as forest spiral, reflecting both the general plan of the building and the fact that it has a green roof. It was designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, planned and implemented by architect Heinz M. Springmann, and constructed by the Bauverein Darmstadt company. The offer was very frustrating, but we accepted it. 
Stupidly I had forgotten some important documents, so that we have to go back the next day...
