Hoy's Golden Postbox

One of Andy's requests for his visit was a trip to Edinburgh, having never been before he wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
After a wonderfully short train journey we made it to Waverley and started off with a trip up the Royal Mile to the castle and then a visit to the National Museum. Despite having visited numerous times, there was still things I came across that I'd never seen before!
After lunch at a cafe, and having filled ourselves with cake/tea/hot chocolate we headed back to the New Town and had a wonder down George Street, then Princes Street.
Then headed home for home-made burgers and a cinema trip to see Life of Pi.
Haven't had such a good day for a while - felt like I was properly on holiday!
