Leaving Koorawatha

When I heard Penny was driving to Cootamundra for an overnighter, I invited myself along for the ride.

Even if you're not in Australia, you may have heard about the drought and fires.
It was 42' in several places we passed through, and the main Blip shows a dusty roadside scene.
That's right, it's dust, not smoke, and it wasn't even windy.

There are three extras of the sad little town of Koorawatha, images which are repeated all over the country.

We were assured by a chap in the pub that there are 500 people living here, but there's not even a general store.

Oh, I forgot to say, we're on a mission to pick up a puppy for Penny.
Watch this space:))
