Never stare into the sun...

Another beautiful east coast daybreak. I tried to capture the sunbeams through the branches and this involved shooting direct into the sun. Learned my lesson many years ago when I focussed through the viewfinder and then walked around the rest of the day with a streaming sore eye. Stupid boy.

For this shot I aimed the lens in the general direction of the golden orb and without putting eye to viewfinder I clicked away about 12 shots. This is the best of them.
