total fire ban

The weather was been horrific strong winds and extremely hot. It is a awful combination and very frightening I can never seem to relax on days like today I am constantly checking the cfa fire warnings for potential fires in our area. Girls spent a little time in the pool, Maddie surprised me today and dove in to the water, something we have being trying to get her to do at swimming lessons all term, she emerged with a massive smile on her face and swam over to say MUM did you see what I just did. Then she spent all day perfecting it. Bailee was straight into the action to and Lara had her own version where she would jump in and spin around in the air so that she was facing close to the edge so she could dog paddle back to it. I was very happy to see their confidence growing over the summer break. Lots of progress.

Maddi went uniform shopping yesterday, along side her best friend Emma,they embraced when they saw each other and were giggling the whole time while trying on various bit of the uniform. Maddie seemed pretty happy with the uniform, they had a dress and a skirt and t shirt, all the stables to keep her happy, even though most wear shorts and a t shirt, these besties wanted the dress. With brown sandals to match it.

Wel I have now done the linen cupboard and the pantry, and bathroom now nicely organised and de cluttered.

Bailee came in to my bedroom tonight and asked me very seriously if santa really gave her all the presents at christmas. I went quite and thought for a moment (pondering weather to lie or to come clean and tell her the truth and spoil the magic for her)
