It rained today

After 26 or something days without a speck of moisture - it rained today. Which was a wonderful thing.

This is a wild iris from southern Africa which is a tough as goats' pants, and grows and grows in our climate. Dietes Grandiflora.

It's been a busy busy day.

Thanks to everyone who commented and gave me hearts and stars for my Lorikeet Landing yesterday. Greatly appreciated, and we made third place on the spotlight page, which was a very nice place to be.
