High Summer

Today is the 4th day where the temperature gauge has climbed over 30. Plus the Mistress has been grumbling about it being muggy as well. She says she doesn't mind over 30C as long as it's a dry heat. It has meant to have rained since 1pm today, but so far the clouds are just passing over the ranges and not hitting the tinder land.

The Mistress has had a quiet day today working on photos, but popped out to the fenceline on the vineyard and made me take this image of the dry dry grass. She pushed my button a few times with different points of views, and decided on this one.

I also got tried out on the GorillaPod today, she wanted to test that it could handle my weight! It holds me well so that's what she'll use overseas. I'm not sure I like being planted on top of a Gorilla, I much prefer the slimline Carbon Tripod I usually get placed on but she insists that she doesn't want to carry it. Gorilla it is. I might try and do what Tussock suggested and take some seriously out of focus images in retaliation!
