Aika velikultia

The drain was removed today, I'm very happy about it!
Later I took Emma to CT scan. We all are quite nervous about results.

In the picture is a detail of Väinö Linna's portrait in the Finlayson area. Linna worked in the Finlayson textile factory before and after the war.

The text aika velikultia is the last sentence of Väinö Linna's most famous novel The Unknown Soldier. The novel follows soldiers of a Finnish Army machine gun company operating in the Karelian front during the Continuation War from mobilisation in 1941 to the Moscow Armistice in 1944. The company's action is based on Infantry Regiment 8, the actual unit Väinö Linna served in. The novel's last sentence describes the characters of the unit as Rather dear, those boys = Aika velikultia.
