Sun!

Backblipped 18th November

Well today was meant to be the best day weather wise but it certainly wasn't!! The appearances in this picture are deceptive as it was a momentary gap in the torrential rain we had!!

Our normal holidays in Cornwall comprise lots of cliff top walking (with lots of eating in between times) but with the cold, rain and strong winds we were having, the thought of being on a Cornish cliff top is really not appealing.

So thought Trebah Garden would be a good place to head to today as we'd have the trees to shelter under - which was a great decision!

Hail on the way there (with another yummy breakfast out - another most unusual thing for us!) but managed a good wander round the gardens interrupted by lots of sheltering under trees - and thankfully in a hut during a particularly bad and long downpour!

It did clear everyone out of the gardens though and we had the rest of our stay to ourselves!

WIth continued rain and sun, and rain and sun!

Coffee and cake back at Nauti But Ice and then a bit of chilling at home in front of fire getting toasty again.

Out for dinner at Kota Kai and I had the massaman curry at long last having envied James the previous two times we've been there!
