Creepy snow

The awning over the deck of our neighbour's patio is covered with ribbed plastic sheeting. During a brief thaw after a snowfall the snow started creeping over the edge of the roof. The snow never broke away from the sloped roof but just continued to stretch. With temperatures now well below freezing the snow has remained in this position.
