Another driving day to get back home. Mostly rain all of the way except for when we did a detour into the Wairakei geothermal area near Taupo. Here you can see the pipes that supply steam to the Te Mihi geothermal power station which will eventually replace the older Wairakei power station. Fits the bill for the work part of today's Mono Monday hosted by MerrilHope.
