Calm.....

.....before the storm.

I had an appointment in the city this morning and on the way home decided to stop by The Groynes. It was warm with a lovely blue sky and amazing cloud formations but change was in the air.

Later in the afternoon Christchurch was hit by lashings of hail, thunder, lightning and a tornado. It traveled through the city and headed north along the east coast leaving damage roofs and trees hanging from power lines. By this time I was home living under a blue sky but I could see it out east as it passed by along the coast. 

Monday....an action packed day weather wise, 18.3C
