Cake Bake.

Having let the fruit soak for a week today was the day to bake the Christmas cake I intended to make and the bonus was that the lovely lady offered to help.

I made some sweet potato and butternut squash soup for lunch, I'm having a love affair with my preserving pan at the moment! 

In the picture you can see that both Murphy and Willis think that cake mixture is coming their way at some stage.

After it started to bake we took them for a walk along Stockbridge High Street, it was too dark for the walk we had planned.

The cake is now out and cooling before being wrapped up safely and stored away from itchy fingers!
